The purpose of this blog is so that family and friends can keep up-to-date with what I am getting up to with my career in aviation and what I got up to previously in Spain, at Flight Training Europe, Jerez. Visitors are also welcome!
I’m a 25 year old Physics graduate from Imperial College, embarking on my life-long ambition to become an airline pilot. This is something that I’ve always wanted to do – ever since I was 6 years old. Back in those days, children were given tours of the flight deck and that was one of the most inspiring experiences for me. As a child, you experience the world at another level. Experiences are much more wondrous and almost, or are magical! This is how it was for me as a child, and fortunately this type of feeling has stuck by me when it comes to flying.
Though is difficult to describe what I felt, this is the closest I can translate, into words.
When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.
